THE REPAIR

The Craft

DISASSEMBLY & STRUCTURAL REPAIR

Affected panels and components are carefully removed to expose the full extent of the damage. Our structural repair specialists use computerised bench and measuring systems to pull, straighten and restore your chassis and body panels to exact OEM tolerances — the geometry your manufacturer engineered.

PANEL BEATING & METAL WORK

Our panel beaters use a combination of traditional craft — hammers, dollies, and shrinking techniques developed over decades — alongside modern hydraulic tools to return each panel to its factory profile. Where panels are beyond repair, we fit OEM or high-quality aftermarket replacements.

Traditional & modern techniques OEM replacement panels PDR where applicable Rust treatment if required

PREPARATION & PRIMING

All repaired surfaces are carefully sanded, filled, and primed. This stage is where invisible repairs are won or lost — our preparation technicians take no shortcuts. Primer coats are applied, dried and wet-sanded until the surface is perfectly smooth and ready for paint.

Multi-stage sanding Two-pack epoxy primer Wet-sand between coats No visible filler lines

PAINT & COLOUR MATCHING

Our computerised spectrophotometer reads your vehicle's existing paint — accounting for age, fade, and metallic or pearl pigment characteristics — and mixes an exact match. Paint is applied in our temperature-controlled, dust-free spray booths for a flawless, factory-grade finish on every coat.

REASSEMBLY

Once paint has fully cured, all trim, glass, lights, sensors and mechanical components removed during disassembly are refitted with care. Panel gaps and alignments are checked against factory tolerances. Every clip, seal and fastener is reinstalled correctly — not just good enough, but right.

Common questions

WHAT PEOPLE
ASK US

How long will my repair take?
It depends on the extent of damage. Minor dent repairs can be done same-day. A full smash repair typically takes 5–10 business days. We'll give you a specific estimate before work starts and notify you immediately if anything changes.
Do I need to contact my insurer first?
No. You have the legal right to choose your own repairer in Australia. Simply contact us, and we'll lodge the claim on your behalf and manage all insurer communication directly. You don't need to make a single call to your insurer.
Will the colour match perfectly?
Yes. We use a computerised spectrophotometer to read your vehicle's exact current paint — not just the factory code. This accounts for real-world ageing, fade, and pigment characteristics, giving you an invisible match that blends seamlessly with the rest of the car.
What if more damage is found during the repair?
It happens — especially with structural damage that's only visible once panels are removed. We document everything, notify you immediately, and (if insured) prepare a supplementary report for your insurer. Work only proceeds on the additional damage with your explicit approval.
Can I get a car while mine is being repaired?
Yes. We offer courtesy vehicles (subject to availability) and a free pickup and drop-off service within our service area. For insurance repairs, we'll also help coordinate a hire car through your insurer's entitlement. Just let us know at the time of booking.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes — for life. All structural and panel work is covered by our lifetime workmanship guarantee. Paint finishes are guaranteed against peeling and delamination. If our work fails, we fix it at no cost to you. It's that simple.
